A rather shadowy figure emerged from some thorny bushes. A meerkat he was, and a large one at that. He opened his mouth in order to "see" the area better. Immediately, he discovered three distinct scents around the area. He would have to eat here hastily and then move on.
The sky above betrayed the male's mood, as did his luck of finding this area that was bountiful with food. Ever since he'd lost his entire clan, he'd been somberly but cleverly roaming the continent in hopes of finding a decent place to stay a while. However, he had long ago decided that he didn't want to interact with other meerkats for a while. He didn't exactly feel up to socializing after losing so many that he loved. Lencho was lost; Each day a blur. And it seemed that the only thing keeping him alive now was just his natural instinct telling him to stay alive no matter what the cost may be.
And in an instant, Lencho was taking his pickings in his recent bouquet of luck.
