A small Meerkat zipped up towards the large basin of water, her eyes taking in its beauty. Nose sniffed in lightly, tentative as to drink it before she sat down at it. Crystal wasn't really thirsty, she just wanted to come out here. As a wanderer, there was nothing to do much, and it gave her all the time along. Her ribs showed very lightly though, as lack of food being on her own, and even just being out in the open like this was risky business.
She sighed as she slumped, laying down by the water, and looked off in the direction she had come from. What to do? there was nothing, and she wasn't worth half the time of day, and she knew it. There was nothing, and there always would be nothing. She thought of going out into the water, feeling its coolness, then thought of how stupid and idiotic she would look, doing such a thing.

Ah, here it was. The cold refreshing drink, stopping to search the sky. The adventerous male didn't notice the other meerkat. Large and on the run, he quickly lurched forward, clamouring towards the female. He didn't even notice her until he about bumped into her. Eyes wide, the young meerkat pulled backwards.
"I'm sorry miss."
Was all he said, looking her up and down. A scrawny one wasn't she? Billy didn't really care. But he was sorry about probably startling her. And so obsessed with watching the world, he didn't even notice how rude he must have seemed.

(Ok I'll move her to a group... And I know it's really dangerous. I remember that much. She was supposed to be a wanderer.

[OOC: Ok]
She jerked, jumping into the air as the other ran head smack into her. She had even managed to back away from him, give him room to go another route, and at first she had taken it as an attack against her, for what she wouldn't know at all. She laughed, nervously, as he told her that he was sorry, and slowly nodded as if to say thanks. She looked around the place, then sat back down, curling up upon the ground. "It's fine..." She told him with a simple sigh, that released all her thoughts and feelings.
There was nothing to live for, and she jumped at the possibility of death's door. Why? She didn't know right off-hand. She should have sat there, then maybe luck would have swallowed her whole and given her her request, but no it didn't, and she had nothing but her dying hopes of death to look forward to. Well, being this far from a pack was a death's wish. It mostly unheard of, and almost all the meerkats brave enough to do such a thing died.

Noticing the two Meerkats looking awkwardly at one another--or that's what it seemed to Mateso, he decided to avert himself away from the two to focus on getting a drink without trouble. If they were wanderers looking for a place to drink, well, so be it. If they were brother and sister reunited, then, that was fine too. As long as they wouldn't start something, but that didn't seem very likely.
He didn't stare to see if he was noticed; he simply dipped his pointed muzzle into the water and lapped up the cool liquid with a narrow tongue. If he didn't stare, if he didn't draw too much attention to himself, they would have no reason to bother him. He wasn't one to start trouble, but if it came, then he would try his best to overcome or avoid.

She turned to face another Meerkat, but quickly turned around. What was this a gathering? She didn't want this, she didn't want this at all. She started backnig away rapidly, up towards a spot all to gherself, and sat there, curled up. An eye wondered from one male to another, as she lay there, hoping neither was going to harm her. With vicious words or action, either was possible, but she was more worried about the words than the actions. If they'd kill her, that'd be fine but there was no guarantee of that. Slumping down upon the ground, she sighed deeply, her fears subsiding as she waited. Drowning was a possibility, if they weren't around. What would they think? Who knows if either might try to be a 'hero' and then scold her later, telling her life was precious. Well, hers wasn't. They could know that, easily, and she knew it. Everyone should.

Mateso noticed how the female Meerkat suddenly panicked, and turned a curious look in her direction. Boy, she was something. He blamed it on many things: a near-death experience for one, or perhaps it was the heat? Anyway, she proved to be a little nervous, but harmless enough. He scratched at his right ear, and shook his fur, the droplets of water that soaked around his chin spraying around. He gave no harm to the other; she should know THAT at least.

She now laid at the river's side focusing on her own inner thoughts, and not of the outside world. She lips hissed in a violent cold way, shivering thoughts of suicide into the world, and pushing away all thoughts of friendship or help. Her arms lay limp upon the bare ground, upon and unscarred, imaginary wounds forming over themselves as the time slowly ticked away, the sticky hands of time freezing in places, adding more time upon the already ticking bomb of life, causing a longer time line for them all. She sighed, a sigh that life did inhabit her body, and that she lived, then exhaled, releasing all the prove she had just taken in back to the world, as if to say that chances were, she was dead. Dead. On the inside, she may very well be, with nothing left to cling to for her life to keep pressing on for another day.

She turned to the other intruder, and got up, placing herself a good distance away from the others. She preferred not letting them find a reason to talk to her, for any reason. Keeping an ear out encase they talked, she figured she could just listen in, and hear their conversation. She was hoping they'd stay away from her. The place was getting crowded, for her taste at least, and fast though.
