Yes I'm researching. Of course, edit as you see bfix Acid. ^^ All thanks to [ www.meerkats.net/info.htm] Diets usually consist of small portions. They spread apart from one another upon the desert floor as they search for their food. They frequently communicate with each other while they are looking for food in order to warn of possible dangers in the area. Usually one will act as sentry[remember Lion 1 1/2 ^^ Timon the sentry! Sorry, lol.] Most of their food is found underground.- worms
- crickets
- grasshoppers
- small rodents
- lizards
- small snakes
- birds
- eggs
- fruit
- ant larvae
- Poisonous Scorpions
- Millipede
Insects are a particularly good source of nutrition for the Meerkats because they reproduce rapidly and supply an almost constant food source.
